If you need to remove or reclone (i.e. you lost the master) a replica desktop you can unprotect it on the VMware vCenter server.

The sviconfig command is located in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware View Composer by default.

If the Top-N widget does not allow timeframes under 30 days please ensure that you have at least vC Ops version 5.0.2 or higher installed and do not use the vC Ops for View adapter.

If you move the master or linked clone VMs you might get the following error:

VMware View Provisioning error occured because of a configuration problem

Provisioning error occured on Pool YOURPOOL because of a configuration problem

You will need to rebuild the pool to fix this issue, moving the VMs back was no solution in most cases. This should be a good reminder to never manually move VMs, Replicas or Templates.
